The Wonder of Me

I sit upon the Mountain Throne

I watch over the lands and the valleys and those who reside upon them

Mine

It is all mine

I see every tree

I see every inhabitant

I reside there so that they may see me also

The people reside in my lands willingly

They subjugate themselves to my rule

For they are free to move to other lands whenever they choose

But my people have chosen my rule

It is me they look to for guidance

It is me they see gilded and great

I am seated so that I shine as a beacon and as Ruler over them

They look to me for absolutes

I am seen

As is my right to be seen

I am honoured and rightfully seated upon the throne of the mountain

For no other has endured the climb

But I….

I sit with a scepter in my hand

and a crown upon my head.

For it was honestly earnt

I am seated as the monarch and sovereign of this land

Pass through as you wish

But challenge not the Ruler until you have scaled the hight’s that qualify your right to debate accordingly
